Course Description

Stories are the ways a culture communicates its values. This class will look at the history of storytelling and use the core concepts of media literacy to look at the techniques used to tell these stories. By asking essential questions that probe media messages made of words, sounds and images we are able to become more critical users of the media in our everyday lives.
